🔍 Types of Conjunctions

There are two main types of conjunctions:

1. Co-ordinating Conjunctions

2. Sub-ordinating Conjunctions

1️⃣ Co-ordinating Conjunctions

When a conjunction joins together clauses of equal rank or importance, it is known as 'Co-ordinating conjunction'. These are used to combine two simple sentences into one compound sentence.

A. Cumulative Conjunctions

They join one idea to another and one statement to another.

Common words: both...and, and, not only...but also, as well as, no less than

📝 Examples with Both...and:
